BANK,
BLACKSMITH & ASSAY OFFICE
Our
second largest group of buildings together. They are from left to
right, Bank, Blacksmith, and Assay Office. A lot of hours and detail
has gone into this display. This group, the "Original", and Randy
were filmed for television by TNN. I have never seen a film crew work
so hard to try to get a camera down the boardwalks of these two groups.
They never did make it, as the camera was to wide.
The
details on this project include hitching rails, boardwalk, different
roofs on the buildings, hanging signs, as well as signs on the buildings,
water troughs, mineral rocks in front and back of the assay office,
plus gold pan. Notice the double doors on the Blacksmith building
or the heavy covered windows, not bars, at the Bank. I didn't believe
Banks had window coverings like this, but I was wrong. Some sure did!
